For our Client - Transgourmet Polska Sp. z o.o. we are carrying out the task of Substitute Investor for the construction of FoodService Logistic Center in Gliwice at Sikorskiego Street.

The task is complicated by the fact, that the area to be developed is the area of the former coal mine Sośnica, with two mining shafts I and II. The gradual shutdown of mining took place in the 1980s, and was completed in the 1990s. Due to the specificity and location of the investment area,  it was necessary to carry out an additional geotechnical tests for the new investment requirements for the logistics hall, along with parking lots and associated infrastructure.

We began work on this investment by developing a Land Development Plan with alternative solutions to be accepted by the Investor. Subsequently, we prepared an extended realization concept of the hall along with installations as a basis for design work, as well as the data necessary for the Project Specification Sheets and the size of media demand.

The next step was to develop a ToR with an investment schedule, and conduct a tendering procedure for the selection of a General Contractor for the Design and Build formula.

Currently, we coordinate the execution of the project and carry out design supervision of technical and construction projects carried out by the General Contractor, organize design meetings and participate in them as a representative of the Investor.

The next stage will be construction management and carrying it out in accordance with the construction and working design, active monitoring of the material and financial schedule, investor's supervision, geotechnical supervision, coordination of General Contractor works with the suppliers and Investor's contractors, participation in the final acceptance of the investment.
