Construction of Transgourmet headquarters gathers pace

The construction of the Transgourmet Polska headquarters in Poznań is gathering pace. This is an exceptionally demanding investment – it involves the construction of five additional floors above a partially functioning logistics hall, connected to the Selgros Cash&Carry store open to customers. The construction work on this project is carried out by Pekabex – a leader in prefabricated construction.

After an intensive preparatory phase, the next key phases of implementation have begun. The dismantling of the roof and facade has already been completed, and work has been done connecting the existing reinforced concrete structure of the building with the new prefabricated elements. The dismantling of the existing installations on the first floor has also been completed.

Currently, on the ground floor and in the basement, work is underway to adapt the existing installations and install new ones in accordance with the new layout of the building.

The assembly of the first-floor structure has been completed, and now – with the support of the largest tower crane currently operating in Poznań – the assembly of the prefabricated second floor structure is underway.
